01
Acceptance of Terms
These Terms & Conditions govern your access to and use of deJureBook's website, legal AI assistance, document-understanding tools, educational articles, legal templates, professional-connection features, and related services.
By accessing or using deJureBook, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
02
Eligibility
You must be legally capable of entering into a binding agreement under applicable law. If you use deJureBook for an organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to accept these Terms on its behalf.
A minor may use the service only with the involvement and consent of a parent or legal guardian where required by law.
03
Account Responsibilities
You are responsible for providing accurate account information, protecting your login credentials, and all activity performed through your account. Do not share credentials or allow unauthorised access.
Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised use. We may require identity or authority verification before restoring access or acting on sensitive requests.
04

- Do not submit unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive, abusive, or infringing content.
- Do not attempt to bypass security, access controls, usage limits, or safeguards.

05
Legal Information Disclaimer
deJureBook makes legal information easier to find and understand. Its content is general and informational. Laws, procedures, and interpretations can change and may differ by jurisdiction and facts.
We do not guarantee that every response, article, template, citation, or explanation is complete, current, or suitable for your circumstances.
06
AI Response Disclaimer
AI-generated responses may contain errors, omit relevant law, misunderstand context, or present information with more confidence than warranted. Verification features reduce risk but cannot eliminate it.
You are responsible for reviewing outputs and checking important legal sources. Consult a qualified advocate before relying on an AI response for litigation, criminal matters, deadlines, rights waivers, financial commitments, or other consequential decisions.
07
Document Analysis Disclaimer
Document analysis may summarise, extract, or explain text but may not identify every obligation, risk, ambiguity, or enforceability issue. Scans, handwriting, missing pages, formatting, and context can affect accuracy.
An automated explanation is not a legal review. Have a qualified advocate review important agreements, notices, filings, or documents before you sign, respond, or act.
08
Professional Legal Advice
Using deJureBook does not create an advocate-client relationship with deJureBook, its team, or any professional displayed on the platform. Legal professional privilege does not automatically apply to information submitted to our technology.
Where deJureBook helps you discover or connect with a legal professional, that professional acts independently. Any engagement, advice, fees, conflicts checks, and professional duties are governed by the separate relationship between you and that professional.
09
Intellectual Property
deJureBook and its software, design, brand, interfaces, original editorial content, databases, and platform materials are owned by deJureBook or its licensors and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, revocable, non-transferable right to use the service for its intended purpose. These Terms do not transfer ownership of deJureBook intellectual property.
10
User Content
You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant deJureBook a limited right to host, process, reproduce, and transmit that content only as reasonably necessary to provide, secure, support, and improve the requested service.
You confirm that you have the rights and permissions needed to submit the content. You remain responsible for its legality, accuracy, and the personal or confidential information it contains.
11
Template Downloads
Legal templates are starting points for common situations. They are not tailored legal advice and may not reflect your jurisdiction, facts, required formalities, or later changes in law.
Review and customise every template carefully. Seek professional advice where the document creates important rights, duties, liabilities, deadlines, or financial consequences.
12
Articles
Articles and legal insights are provided for education and general awareness. Publication does not create an advocate-client relationship or guarantee that the material remains current after its publication date.
You may link to articles and quote reasonable extracts with attribution. Republishing or commercially reproducing substantial content requires permission.
13
Payments
Some features may become paid in the future. Before charging you, we will clearly present the price, currency, taxes, billing frequency, and material purchase terms.
Payments may be processed by third-party providers under their own terms. Unless stated otherwise, fees are non-refundable except where required by law or expressly provided at purchase.
14
Subscriptions
If subscriptions are introduced, the applicable plan details will explain the billing cycle, included features, renewal, cancellation, and any trial. Recurring charges will be disclosed before you subscribe.
You will be able to cancel future renewal through the method described at purchase. Cancellation does not ordinarily refund a period already paid for unless required by law.
15
Termination
You may stop using deJureBook at any time. We may suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary to address a Terms violation, security risk, unlawful activity, non-payment, harm to others, or legal requirement.
Where appropriate, we will provide notice and a reasonable opportunity to resolve the issue. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will remain effective.
16
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, deJureBook will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive loss, or for loss of profits, opportunities, data, or goodwill arising from use of or inability to use the service.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Any liability that remains will be limited to the extent permitted by applicable law and considered in light of the nature of the service provided.
17
Indemnification
To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify and hold deJureBook harmless from third-party claims, losses, and reasonable costs arising from your unlawful use of the service, violation of these Terms, or infringement of another person's rights.
This obligation does not apply to the extent a claim results from deJureBook's own unlawful conduct.
18
Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms to reflect changes to the service, law, security practices, or business operations. The updated Terms will be posted with a revised date.
If a change is material, we will provide additional notice where appropriate. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.
19
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Subject to any mandatory consumer rights or dispute forum required by law, disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in India.
Before starting formal proceedings, we encourage you to contact us so we can try to resolve the concern in good faith.
